Gabor Canada - FAQ

Orders are shipped 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding national holidays) after receiving your order confirmation. We ship all orders using Canada Post to ensure reliable delivery. If there is a Canada Post strike, we will use Canpar as our main shipping partner. If Canpar is unable to deliver to your address or within a reasonable timeframe, your order may be cancelled and you will receive a full refund to your original payment method. Please note, during this time we cannot ship to PO Boxes and some remote locations. 

You have 30 days to return items that do not meet your expectations.

Our #1 priority is your happiness. LOVE your shoes or your money back! We take great pride in the superior quality and craftsmanship of our brands. We stand behind our products 100%. If for any reason, you are not absolutely delighted with one of our products at the time you receive it, you may return the item within 30 days of receipt. We will issue a refund for the purchase price.

To be eligible for refund/credit, footwear must be returned unworn in its pristine original condition and packaging. All packages, including original cartons, must be unmarked and not defaced in any manner.

 After inspecting your return, we will issue a credit (including any applicable sales tax) to the original form of payment used. Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping fees. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once we have processed your return. Please allow 2-3 weeks for the processing of your refund.

Due to the unique nature of our business and related matters of hygiene, worn footwear may not be returned except in the unlikely event of a defect in product quality, construction or workmanship. Damage resulting from normal wear and tear is not a manufacturing defect.

Purchase your item of choice and if you change your mind, or it doesn't fit right you can return it at our expense.

We gladly accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of the original invoice date from customers who purchased their Gabor product from www.gaborcanada.ca website.

Every customer wishing to return an item will receive a Canada Post return label, you will not have to pay anything at the post office.

When shipping the item back via Canada Post the item must be unworn, in the original shoe box with a copy of your invoice. Shoe box must be enclosed in a protective shipping carton. If return specifications are not met, we will not be able to properly process your return.

We recommend trying your new Gabor shoes first on a carpeted surface to make sure they fit perfectly as we do not accept returned shoes that show signs of wear including scuffs, creases, stains (footbed) and soil. Damaged items will be returned to the client at their expense.

Package your return securely, enclose any forms you received and attach the pre-printed return label.

Take your return to a Canada Post location closest to you. That's it!

Wipe down your shoes regularly with a damp cloth to keep them looking fresh. It may be a simple suggestion but it can go a long way and save you some some trouble further down the road.

To keep your shoes in good condition, invest in a waterproofing spray that will protect them from the elements. You can purchase them from most shoe stores and will add a layer of coating to make sure your everyday-wear favourites are always looking their best

Don’t wear the same pair of shoes every day. Give your shoes a break and let them air out between wears.

Keep your shoes stored in a cool, dry place to prevent them from getting damaged.

Use a shoe tree to help maintain the shape of your shoes and prevent creasing. They also help wick any leftover moisture away effectively and help with airing out any odour as shoes can take up to 24 hours to fully dry.

Leather shoes need to be conditioned to keep them soft and supple. Use a leather conditioner to keep them in good condition. Due to the material, most dirt and stains can be easily removed with a brush. Just make sure to remove the laces when any cleaning is being done to avoid any water or dirt making it’s way into the shoes.

Suede shoes need a little extra care to keep them looking their best. We recommend using a special care to keep them looking their best. You want to avoid throwing them in the washing machine as they can be washed with a damp cloth and a brush. Just make sure to brush in a straight line to avoid any getting deeper into the fibres. If all else fails, you use a specific suede cleaner also available from certain stores!
